Emmanuel Macron, the current president of France, and the far-right leader, Marine Le Pen, are vying for the presidency of France in the second round of elections.

Both have achieved the first positions in the elections, although Macron is ahead according to preliminary data.

The second electoral round is scheduled for April 24.
